SOUTHEASTERN China's Fuzhou International Container Terminal (FICT) handled 370,000 TEU during the first three quarters, an increase of 29 per cent over the same period in 2008, Xinhua reported.

In September, the terminal's monthly throughput for the first time exceeded 50,000 TEU, setting a new high, up 35 per cent compared to the same month in the preceding year.
