AIR Macau has launched a Nanning-Macau-Taipei service, for the first time enabling Nanning residents flights to Macau without changing planes in Guilin since 2005, reports Logistics Week.

Flights A319 or A320 fly Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, taking four hours from Nanning to Taipei. Nanning residents can check in for the Macau-Taipei route or Macau-Kaohsiung flight at Nanning Airport.

With the continuous development of the Guangxi Beibu (aka Tonkin) Gulf Economic Zone and the staging of the annual China-ASEAN Expo meeting in Nanning, the economic and cultural exchange between Guangxi, Macau, and Taipei is increasing. The Nanning-Macau flight will provide convenience for communication and regional cooperation in the Pan-Pearl River Delta.
