NAMAKKAL Transport has announced the official launch of its first entry into an overseas market through NTC Logistics Pte, Ltd.

    The company that is based in India specialises in heavy lift and mega structure carriage.

    In order to cater clients' demand for the transport of containers and conventional cargo across the border, NTC Logistics will provide service through its NVOCC and Project divisions in Singapore.

    "Despite their own offices in 41 locations in India, Singapore and Malaysia, they have agency tie up with China, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Gulf, US and Europe," a company statement said.

     It said the working capital for Malaysia is MYR500,000 (US$161,134).
