Wan Hai Lines, Interasia Lines and MOL in joint Japan-Indonesia service
Date:2012-08-23 Readers:

Aug.23--WAN HAI Lines, Interasia Lines and MOL have entered a new agreement to cooperate in a joint Japan-Indonesia service called the CHS3.

The CHS3 service was launched in March using 2,500-TEU ships while Wan Hai deploys similar vessel size in a separate New Super 1(NS1) service. To provide a more direct service between Japan and Southeast Asia, Wan Hai's NS1 service will merge with MOL's CHS3 service. The new CHS3 service will now deploy four panamax vessels.

The first sailing is scheduled to depart from Hong Kong on a northbound route on September 6. The CHS3 service rotation will be Osaka, Yokkaichi, Yokohama, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Port Klang, Jakarta, Port Klang, Singapore, Cai Mep, Hong Kong and back to Osaka.
