Axxom, a provider of labour management, supply chain, production and logistics optimization software, and Mantis, a provider of logistics software and solutions in the markets of Central Eastern Europe and Russia/CIS, have agreed on a strategic partnership to deliver Axxoms’ software and solutions to Mantis’ customers.

In the first step of the partnership, Mantis will provide Axxoms’ software orion-PI® Staff Planning & Scheduling as add-on to its WMS (Warehouse Vision™). A specific interface will be implemented to allow a smooth flow of data between the two systems. Such a seamless integration will enable users to precisely plan and schedule their staff based on actual data of the WMS and conduct for example capacity analysis by days, shifts or even minutes. Also, demand-oriented absence, manpower planning and person-related rescheduling between shifts and departments is possible. In a second step, both companies want to extend the partnership on Axxoms’ solutions for intra-logistics optimization. Here Mantis will integrate the intelligent optimization algorithms of Axxom in its software and thus further enhance its total solutions.
