Jul.1--EVERGREEN has taken delivery of a 9,200 TEU new L-class vessel, named Ever Learned, which is the 13th vessel in a series of 20 identical ships built by South Korea's Samsung Heavy Industries.

??Various related companies within the Evergreen Group ordered the 20 containerships between July and September 2010. The ships are part of a wider series of 30 units as Evergreen placed follow-up orders for 10 identical ships at CSBC Kaohsiung in May 2011.

??The Ever Learned will be deployed on Evergreen Marine's Far East-Europe (CES) service on which CMA CGM, NYK, Cosco, Hanjin and "K" Line take slots.

??A naming ceremony was held for this latest newbuilding at the beginning of June at Samsung's Geoje Island shipyard during which sister ships Ever Legend (Samsung L-type number 12) and Ever Legion (number 14) were also christened.
