YUSEN Logistics is extending the reach of its Trans-Atlantic services to offer regular departures from Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London and Paris to Chicago, New York, Los Angeles and Atlanta through its airline partnerships.
The Tokyo-headquartered air/ocean freight forwarder is offering a one-stop service, including customs clearance, warehousing and fulfillment, and delivery to final destination.
It said the trans-atlantic service will prove particularly attractive to its clients in the consumer electronics, retail, fashion and pharmaceuticals sectors.
Its senior director of business products division, Europe, Alan Whittaker, said in a company release: "Our clients are using our quality airfreight solutions as a vital tool in their supply chain mix, helping them to 'future proof' their products in today's acutely competitive markets.
"Yusen Logistics' solution-driven approach is supporting businesses in reducing transit times through improved shipment planning and visibility of the overall shipping process in the face of constant downward pressure on prices and shortening product life-cycles." |
