On December 9, 2011, Shanghai International Shipping Institute (SISI) held the “Shipping Finance Seminar”, carrying out discussions and exchanges on the promotion of SISI’s organizational building as well as the current situation and taskes of shipping finance in 2012.

Three officials from the General Division of Shanghai Municipal Office of Finance Service attended the seminar. Division Chief Wu Jun announced the appointment of Deputy Division Chief Cui Yuanjian (division-level) as the deputy secretary-general of SISI by Shanghai Municipal Office of Finance Service. Then, he investigated and consulted the arrangements of Shanghai’s shipping finance sector for the next year.

Secretary-General Zhen Hong introduced the progress and achievements of SISI since its establishment. SISI’s Deputy Secretary-General Zhang Jieshu, Office Director Dai Jin, and Executive Deputy Director Gan Aiping of Shipping Finance Institute attended the seminar. Also present were leaders from the 1st Key Account Department of China Construction Bank Shanghai Branch, Shipping Finance Department of the Bank of Communications, Bank of Communications Finance Leasing Co., Ltd., Shanghai Asia Pacific Insurance Broker, Shipping Insurance Operation Center of China Pacific Property Insurance Company, and Shipping Business Center of Ping An Property Insurance Shanghai Branch, etc.
