HARBIN in northeastern China's Heilongjiang province is building the CNY4 billion (US$656.4 million) Jiasheng Logistics Park, the city's biggest covering 1.1 million square metres, according to Harbin Xiangfang District Government.
Phase one of the project is already in operation and has attracted a number of major enterprises such as Midea Group, Master Kong Holdings and Belle Footwear, reports Xinhua.
Construction will be carried out in three phases. Phase one project covers an area of about 200,000 square metres with logistics warehouse and business service areas built.
The 300,000-square metre phase two will involve the construction of a large storeroom and parking areas. Container transit zones and auxiliary facilities will be built in phase three.
The park also will provide road port and logistics information sharing platform services. Annual revenue is expected to reach CNY10 billion when all is completed.
