Damco supports global growth in China oil firm Kerui's shipments
Date:2014-04-17 Readers:

GLOBAL freight forwarder and logistics provider Damco is extending its partnership with the Shandong Kerui Holding Group Co, after delivering oilfield products from Tianjin and Zhengzhou to South America and Europe.

As a result of Damco's input, Kerui has seen improvements in logistics lead time and lower costs.

Kerui has collaborated with Damco, Maersk subsidiary, since 2013, which has designed and implemented various sophisticated logistics solutions to enable the company to meet the requirement of global customers in a more cost effective manner.

The turnover of Kerui increased by 70.60 per cent last year, while that from overseas business surged 83 per cent. As global demand for oilfield products continues to grow, the company expects a 130 per cent growth in turnover over the next three years.

"We are growing with Kerui and fully supporting them to reach their business goal globally," said Damco North Asia CEO Henriette Hallberg Thygesen.

The logistics provider in North Asia operates 30 offices across mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Korea. It has plans for eight new commercial offices in North Asia this year.
