About Jin Jiachen

Jin Jiachen is specialized in the area of shipping management and shipping & port policy. She has published more than 10 academic articles and 3 textbook, and participated in almost 30 research projects.

In 2010, Jin Jiachen joined Shanghai International Shipping Institute as chief analyst of shipping market research department and  director of shipping center construction department successively, responsible for the research of shipping center construction. She has led and participated in several internal reference and features, among which the proposal about Shanghai Center of World Maritime University have been approved by Han Zheng, then Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, the proposal about Maersk’s Triple-E approved by Yang Xiong, then Mayor of Shanghai, and the proposals about Learning from Hong Kong’s Experience and Economic Contribution approved by Shen Jun, then Vice Mayor of Shanghai.

Jin Jiachen has been engaged in several research topics related to the development of international shipping center, including:

2. Shanghai International Shipbroker Development Policy and Standard Management

3. In-depth Policy Study on the Return of China-controlled FOCs

4. Shanghai International Shipping Center Annual Report 2009

6. Connotation and Basic Composition of Shipping industry Chain

7. Home Port-based Cruise Industrial Chain

8. Experience and Enlightenment of Soft Environment Development in Overseas International Shipping Centers

9. Shanghai International Shipping Center Twelfth-five Development Plan, co-working with Shanghai Urban Construction and Communication Commission, the authority responsible for promoting Shanghai shipping center

10. The Eighth Shanghai Municipal Decision Consultation Research Findings Award for participating in the research topic “Connotation and Policy Research on International Shipping Development Comprehensive Pilot Area”, third class, 2010
