MCC launches southeast Asia-Taiwan service April 18
Date:2011-04-07 Readers:

SINGAPORE's MCC Transport, Maersk's intra-Asia specialist, has announced it will launch a new TW-1 southeast Asia-Taiwan service to offer direct connections between Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Taiwan with effect from April 18.

The service runs on a 14-day rotation, calling at Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore, Haiphong, Kaohsiung and back to Tanjung Pelepas.

This round-trip rotation offers "a new direct trade lane from Haiphong to Kaohsiung and the fastest transit times to Haiphong from Tanjung Pelepas and Singapore with weekend cut off at Singapore and Friday cut off at Tanjung Pelepas," said a company statement.

The first sailing for TW-1 is expected to depart Kaohsiung on 18th April 2011.
