Holding a Ph.D. degree in Multimodal Transportation from New Jersey Institute of Technology, Dr. Guan has long dedicated to the consulting/research projects for government institutions and enterprises, and has presented and published a number of papers on various international conferences and academic journals. Benefiting from his many engagements in government and enterprise projects as well as employment in many enterprises, he has extensive experiences in Multimodal Transportation planning, maritime economics and logistics, container terminal management, port development planning, and operational/economic performance analysis. He is actively involved in Transportation Research Board’s intermodal terminal design/operation committees. Based on his extensive experience and advanced academic/research background, Dr. Guan has demonstrated his capability to deliver practical solutions for transportation management, policy making and planning. He has provided consulting services to enterprises and government institutions such as NYK Lines USA, New York Container Terminal, Convanta, New York Economic Development Corporation, and the Port Authority of New York/New Jersey.
