Mr. Liu, doctor in Engineering, is the assistant to the director of Shipping Information Technology Institute and the lecturer in Computer Science of Information Engineering College, Shanghai Maritime University. He obtained the master degree in Computer Science from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2002 and the doctor degree in Computer Science from Washington State University in Dec. 2007. His research area covers, for example, Internet Protocol, wireless intelligent network, network-on-chip, and interconnected network. He is currently leading a project supported by the scientific research fund of the University, namely, “Research on Methods for Optimizing the Performance of Internet Terminals in Wireless Ad Hoc Network”. He had also led and completed projects supported by MIIT development fund and Boeing scientific research fund, in addition to publishing several academic papers retrievable by EI.
