Gan Aiping, deputy chief of SISI Shipping Finance Institute, PhD of Economics, currently a finance professor and master’s tutor at the School of Economics & Management of Shanghai Maritime University. Gan got her bachelor’s degree in Political Economy from Xinjiang University in July 1984, master’s degree in Economics from the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in June 1989, and PhD of Finance from the School of Economics of Xiamen University in July 2001. Gan teaches courses such as macro-economy, public finance, money and banking, financial market, commercial banking business and management, investment securities, theories and practices of investment banking, central banking, international credit, financial institution management, theories and practices of international trade, and shipping finance. She has published more than 30 papers on various topics and worked on six research programs, and her researches are focused on finance and shipping finance.
