Shen Qiuming, executive deputy chief of SISI Shipping Policy and Law Institute. Shen is specialized in admiralty law, ship sale and purchase, maritime insurance and logistics. He got his bachelor’s degree in Economic Law from Peking University in 1984 and master’s degree in International Economic Law from Nanjing University in 1997. Shen began working for Nanjing University in 1984 and is now a professor at Shanghai Maritime University and a part-time lawyer at a Shanghai law firm. Shen has published papers and books on admiralty law and handled cases in admiralty law, insurance and international economic relations and trade.
