Chen Jingying, dean of Law School of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SUIBE). Chen got her master’s degree in international economic law from Shanghai Maritime University and began teaching at SUIBE Law School in 1987, mainly engaged in teaching and research of law and teaching courses such as admiralty law, transportation law, international business law and contract law. Chen has published three books including Incoterms 2000 - Definition and Application and Detailed Annotation to Cases of International Trade Law, published more than 30 papers including “On the Nature of and Responsibility for ‘Delivery of Goods without B/L’ in Maritime Trial” and “Legal Study of Relation to Third Party of Contract of Freight Transport on the Sea”, and completed seven provincial and collegiate research projects. Chen won the Dajiang Award in 1995, Baosteel Excellent Teacher Award in 1998, and third prize for academic writing granted by Shanghai Law Society in 2003.
