Li Jiuling, PhD of Economics, Level-3 customs supervisor, economics professor and associate dean of the Department of Economics of Shanghai Customs College. Li is a renowned teacher at Shanghai Customs College, initiator of the college’s tax discipline, executive director of Customs Revenue Research Center, a key member of Shanghai Social Sciences Innovation Base and Shanghai Institute of Development Strategy, and a member of China Customs Society. Mainly engaged in teaching and research of theories and practices of finance, tax revenue and customs duty, Li has presided over and participated in a raft of provincial and ministerial-level science research projects and won several awards. He has published tens of papers on important journals such as Public Finance Research and Economic Survey, authored two books - Modern Tax Theory and Practice and Analysis of the System of National Debt, and acted as editor-in-chief or editor in such teaching materials as Theories and Policies of Customs Duty, Public Finance and Public Economy.
