Cheng Juehao, deputy chief of SISI Cruise Economy Institute, deputy secretary-general of China Cruise and Yacht Industry Association of China Communications and Transportation Association, expert panelist of Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administration, and member of Shanghai Technical Committee of Tourism Standardization. Having engaged in water recreation, tourism and leisure development for many years, Cheng’s research is focused on cruise economy, yacht economy, tourism on ship, and planning and development of waterfront areas. Professor Cheng teaches Water Tourism Development and Management, Overview of Oceanic Tourism, Overview of Cruise Industry, and other key courses to undergraduates. He has published more than 30 papers on water tourism, and has presided over or participated in more than 20 research and consulting topics covering cruise industry, yacht economy and waterfront tourism development.
