CMA CGM says French ports will figure highly in Ocean Three alliance Asia-Europe service to start before January with China Shipping (CSCL) and United Arab Shipping Company (UASC).

Marseilles-based CMA CGM said Ocean Three will be the only provider to offer a direct route to Dunkirk from Asia - and this on a weekly basis.

Dunkirk will have a weekly link to Tianjin, Dalian, Qingdao, Shanghai and Shenzhen-Yantian, as well Busan, Kelang, Beirut and Jeddah.

Ocean Three would also offer twice weekly calls at CMA CGM's home port of Marseille-Fos-sur-Mer which offers the "shortest transit between the Mediterranean and Asia?
