SOUTHEAST China's Fujian province posted a six per cent growth in waterway freight volume to 14.12 million tonnes in January, reports Xinhua.

    Waterborne passenger volume came to 1.14 million person trips, a year-on-year 25 per cent increase.

    Provincial rail freight volume grew 5.6 per cent to 40.3 million tonnes while the rail passenger volume increased six per cent to 60 million person trips.
