This study analyzes the connotations, significance and general mode of port resource integration, the composition of port resources, and makes an overall assessment of specific integration modes. It sorts out the general situation of port resource integration in China, summarizes its history in terms of time, space, and the scope and degree of integration, and makes an overall assessment and summary of its status quo. By analyzing the integration modes, the study selects typical case studies of each mode, and analyzes them from an array of perspectives, including the background and intention of resource integration, main schemes, auxiliary policy measures, the pros and cons of integration, difficulties encountered and lessons that can be drawn on. In the end, the study proposes a few mode options for China’s port resource integration along with relevant policy suggestions.
