This research report systematically expounds the current progress on Shanghai’s modern shipping service system, sorts out and analyzes the achievements made by Shanghai in developing this system, and puts forth eight representative shipping demonstration projects. The report also summarizes Shanghai’s experience and lessons learnt in this area, and demonstrates the direction for Shanghai to develop the modern shipping service system.
