Yusen Logistics has provided free transport to send 4,800 nutritional bars donated by Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co. to poverty-stricken areas of Cambodia to lend support to the 'Maternal and Child Health Improvement' project organised by non-profit organisation, Peoples' HOPE Japan (PHJ).

The logistics company made the arrangements for the donated food to be exported from Japan and then forwarded by air from Narita Airport to Cambodia. After arrival Yusen Logistics (Cambodia) handled import customs clearance procedures and arranged the delivery, with the Yusen Logistics Group arranging a one-stop service for the NPO, reported American Journal of Transportation.

The delivered food is intended to help aid health education within Cambodia's Kampong Cham province.
