A temporary loading facility has been established at the former Hong Kong's old Kai Tak Airport for eight months and extend nine metres seawards from the runway, the Hong Kong Marine Department announced.

From time to time, lighter or barge will berth at the facility within the operation area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D) and the adjacent shoreline: (A) 22 deg. 18.804'N / 114 deg. 12.245'E; (B) 22 deg. 18.792'N / 114 deg. 12.233'E; (C) 22 deg. 18.857'N / 114 deg. 12.159'E and (D) 22 deg. 18.873'N / 114 deg. 12.176'E.
