CEVA Logistics has announced that Fintyre, a leading distributor of replacement tyres in Italy, will now use the supply chain company's TyreCity facility to provide warehousing. Fintyre will use the space to store "buffer stock" products, a total of 90,000 tyres across a 60,000-strong product range.

TyreCity is a sector specific hub fully dedicated to warehousing, handling and cross docking of tyre product located in Somaglia in the province of Lodi.

"With the opening of TyreCity, we decided to rely on CEVA, expanding our relationship that already includes imports flow management of our products from the Far East," said said Fintyre general manager Nicola Melillo. "Thanks to the benefits of TyreCity, Fintyre can now guarantee more high level service, reliability and speed to final users," he said.
