Global logistics leader, DHL Express, unveiled its plan to build its regional headquarters at Wuxi Airport Industrial Park (A-PARK), Wuxi National Hi-tech District (Xinwu District) on March 10, according to Wuxi Daily.

Upon construction, the base at A-Park will be the center of DHL's aviation logistics, supply chains and expressage operations.

The deal brings with it 452.4 million yuan ($70 million) in investment and is scheduled to yield 700 million yuan ($109.82 million).

Wuxi National Hi-tech District has strived to attract first-class express carriers and package delivery companies to settle their headquarters in the area this year to boost the local international logistics industry.

DHL is a division of the German logistics company Deutsche Post DHL providing international express mail services.
