On the afternoon of June 2, two part-time MBA students from Erasmus University of Rotterdam based in the Netherlands came to SISI and were warmly received by Jiang Chaoyan, researcher of Port Research Department and Lu Weiling, Director of International Cooperation Department. At present they are doing a case study on the Port of Rotterdam and the Port of Shanghai regarding circular economy. Jiang Chaoyan made a detailed introduction of practices adopted by Port of Shanghai in developing green port and promoting energy saving while Dutch students elaborated on advanced experience gained by Port of Rotterdam in burning clean fuel and resource reuse and recycling.
