Pudong and FTZ administrators to set up joint supervision system
Date:2016-08-19 Readers:

China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone and Pudong New Area will take measures to build a supervision system, officials told a press conference yesterday.

Their purpose is to break down administrative barriers, abolish government-backed agent services, lower the market threshold, and stimulate market activities.

The Pudong New Area Administration will review its power list containing 441 approval items and further reduce them to improve government transparency and efficiency. It will make more effort to invigorate and regulate the market. Work is continuing to separate business license from official permit, a reform affecting 116 approval items.

Officials said the Pudong administration will delegate its power to organizations at lower levels and establish a supervision system to share information between departments and to prevent illegal activities in the new area and the free trade zone.
