Hong Kong's Kerry Logistics has won two honours at the Hong Kong RFID Awards 2010 for its Kerrier RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) solution - the Silver Award for the Best EPC (Electronic Product Code)/RFID Implementation and the Bronze Award for the Most Innovative Use of EPC/RFID.
    The awards are intended to foster development of new EPC/RFID products and services in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta.
    The Kerrier RFID solution has been developed in-house by Kerry Logistics, leveraging the company's knowledge and experience in supply chain innovations. The main benefits of Kerrier RFID are enhanced operational efficiency and accuracy, and the reduction of human error through visual verification of serial number checking.
    "These awards demonstrate Kerry Logistics' commitment on leveraging technology to improve efficiency and reduce costs for our customers," said Wilson Lee, director of IT at Kerry Logistics.
