The 2016 China International Logistics Summit was held on Nov 8 and 9 in Duyun, Guizhou. Enterprise representatives, government officials, experts and representatives of chambers of commerce from home and abroad were among the 1,500 attendees.

Participants conducted in-depth discussions on the topic of international logistics channels. The first day of the event saw eight agreements signed among the governments of Qianxinan prefecture, Gwadar in Pakistan, Townsville in Australia, and Zhuhai, and the Guizhou Logistics Industrial Association.

Duyun is the capital of the Qiannan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture and has become a national demonstration site of modern logistics in circulation domain in 2010. The prefecture has carried out 76 logistics-related projects worth 38.5 billion yuan ($5.69 billion).
