Zhongde Metal Group Co signed a cooperation agreement with Xi’an International Trade and Logistics Park on Nov 16 to build a TSP new metal research center, bringing new opportunities for the manufacturing industry in Xi’an.

Zhongde, headquartered in southern Guangdong province, is a Sino-German company that specializes in the research and application of new metals.

The first phase of the center will cover an area of 118 mu (78,700 square meters) with an investment worth 450 million yuan ($65.63 million). Besides a research center, there will also be administrative buildings and production bases. The project will import an automated assembly line from Germany that is able to produce 200,000 tons of new composite metals, such as TSP and TS, and is hoped to generate an annual turnover of 1 billion yuan in the first year, 3 billion yuan in three years.
