China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone established its own federation of trade unions last week. The federation will serve as a bridge between employers and employees and contribute to administrative reform in the FTZ.

The new organization will make itself a role model for trade unions in Shanghai and around the country, officials said.

The FTZ federation of trade unions will promote the spirit of workmanship among all employees and help companies to move up the value chain through innovation and advanced management.
