Five construction projects started at the Xi'an international Trade and Logistic Park in January, making the park into a new construction center in the north part of Xi’an city.
The five projects are planned to receive a total investment of 7.2 billion yuan ($1.05 billion) this year, consisting of an international purchasing center, a logistic center for modern medicine, an integrated supply chain services platform, a branch of First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University Hospital and a trade center for alcoholic beverages.
In 2017, the Xi'an Trade and Logistic Park will focus on 178 projects with totaling 50.9 billion yuan in investments. It aims to boost Xi’an’s growth into an international metropolis by strengthening the opening-up policy.
Last year, the park also carried out 178 projects, including a sports stadium, logistics base and a China Post mail processing center.
