Mr. Lee Do-Yeop, representative of Korea Busan Port Authority (BPA) Shanghai Office visited Shanghai International Shipping Institute (SISI) today. He was warmly received by Mr. Yin Ming, Party Secretary of Shanghai International Shipping Institute Committee of CPC, and deputy secretary general of SISI and Ms. Zhao Nan, assistant to secretary-general and director of Port Research Department as well as Mr. Xie Wenqin, analyst of Port Research Department. Ms. Zhao briefed the Korean guest on SISI’s organization structure, main functions, research reports and cooperation with overseas counterparts while Mr. Lee explained the objective and tasks of the newly-established Shanghai Office and expressed willingness to build relations with shipping and port organizations in China. The two sides also discussed possibilities of future cooperation.
