E-town logistics center continues to grow

The volume of cargo passing through E-town’s bonded logistics center hit 79,400 tons in 2016, nearly six times that of 2012, while the value of cargo reached $3.5 billion, nearly four times as much, ranking the center third nationwide, according to figures from the local customs authority.


E-town’s bonded logistics center, supervised by Beijing customs authority, opened on Dec 9, 2011 and since then, communication between it and other supervision areas has been promoted by the local customs authority, with the Integration Cargo System (ICS) of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.


Based on the system of real-time processing of exports and imports of bonded goods, together with bonded storage, E-town’s bonded logistics center offers all-weather services, while continuing to increase productivity.


E-town’s bonded logistics center has now attracted more than 300 companies, and continues to go from strength to strength.
