The Swedish shipping company, Stena Line, will introduce a newly refurbished ferry Stena Vision on the route from Gdynia in Poland to Swedish Karlskorona. The new ferry, whose refurbishment cost some PLN 70mn (EUR 17.91mn USD 25.30mn), is able to carry 1,700 passengers and 120 trucks, and will start operating on 4 November 2010. Stena Vision replaces much smaller Finarrow with only 200 passenger and 800 car places. The spring of 2011 will see a twin ferry Stena Spirit replacing Stena Baltica, according to Logistics Finland.
