GOLD Star Line is preparing to triple its container shipping capacity on its weekly
CTI service that plies the trade between China and Indonesia by
increasing the vessel size from 2,500 to 4,000 TEU, to meet rising
demand.
The upgraded CTI service will commence on May 12 with three vessels on a 21-day rotation.
"China and Indonesia are two of the fastest growing economies in Asia
and we are providing an express link between major ports in both
countries to meet growing demand from our customers," said managing
director Danny Hoffmann.
The port rotation is: Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Jakarta, Surabaya, Kaohsiung, returning Shanghai.
