BEIJING based Air China's
April cargo traffic increased 9.2 per cent year on year to 677 million
revenue ton kilometres (RTK), the best April demand growth ever posted
by a major Asian carrier, reported Seattle's Cargo Facts.
International traffic for the month was
up 12.9 per cent to 532 million RTKs, while domestic traffic declined
2.4 per cent to 136 million RTKs. For the year to date through April,
Air China reported 10.4 per cent increase in cargo traffic to 2.48
billion RTKs.
