A promotional conference for the Chang'an China-Europe freight train was held in Shanghai on July 26, attracting experts, scholars and association representatives from related fields, as well as dozens of representatives from well-known companies from around the world.

The meeting was hosted by the Xi'an municipal bureau of commerce, the Xi'an International Trade and Logistics (ITL) Park administrative committee and Xi'an International Land Port Investment&Development Co.

At the meeting, the ITL Park delegation introduced the platform advantages of the train service as part of the Xi'an port international logistics channel.

The train has gradually become the most stable, intensive and heavily loaded freight carrier in China since it delivered the first cargo to Alma-Ata Kazakhstan on November 28, 2013.

As of the first half of 2018, it has made a total of 545 runs to 20 cities in seven European countries. Its operational lines, cargo volume and reload rate, as well as its one-month operational runs have ranked the first in China.

Representatives from Xi'an customs highlighted how to improve the quality and efficiency of the train service at the meeting.

In the future, ITL Park will focus on improving its quality by developing it as the brand with the best, intelligence, radiation areas, service, and cost rates for full-process logistics solutions for global customers.

At the meeting industry experts and representatives from Xi'an customs, Xi'an International Land Port Investment&Development Co, Nippon Express and Honeywell had discussions on supporting services, including customs policy, line operations, financial backing, information technology and international cooperation.

Representatives of various enterprises expressed great interest in the Chang'an China-Europe train runs and expressed their hopes of visiting ITL Park as soon as possible.
