A SURCHARGE called a Bunker Recovery Adjustment Factor will be imposed by French shipping giant CMA CGM on monthly basis for the short term contracts only (excluding any contract subject to quarterly floating BAF mechanism) to reflect the significant increase in the bunker costs.
Effective April 1, date of loading in the origin ports, and until further notice, the new amount of the Bunker Recovery Adjustment Factor, based on the VLSFO average price of Q1 (Dec 20, Jan 21, Feb 21 Baseline), will be applicable to all cargo on Africa Lines services.
