3PL expands into Charleston, S.C., market with locally known forwarder
    Memphis-based third party logistics provider Mallory Alexander International Logistics expanded into the Charleston, S.C., market with the acquisition of forwarder Tradesource from Atlantic Services Group.
    The former Tradesource office near Charleston Harbor specializes in export ocean forwarding and customs house brokerage. Additional services include truck brokerage, special project transportation, and supply chain consulting services.
     “Tradesource built their reputation with excellent service in the competitive Charleston marketplace. Mallory Alexander has explored the Charleston market for several years, looking for the right fit to expand our footprint in the Southeast region,” said Neely Mallory III, president of Mallory Alexander. “We were confident in the Tradesource ownership and operations group; we knew this would be a successful venture in Charleston.”
    Mallory Alexander specializes in global logistics and supply chain services including public and contract warehousing; international, domestic, air and ocean freight forwarding; custom brokerage; import/export services; intermodal trucking; and transportation and consulting.
