The Port of Hamburg dropped 7.9 per cent, with a total throughput of 8.5 million TEU. The Port of Valencia reduced its fall of 9.1 per cent in Q1 to only 0.5 per cent the previous full year. The port handled 5.4 million TEU.

The Greek Port of Piraeus lost 3.6 per cent with 5.44 million TEU containers handled due to declining import traffic.

The 5.1 million boxes that passed through the Spanish Port of Algeciras represented a 0.4 per cent fall. The Port of Barcelona handled 2.96 million TEU.
