THE port of Koper has welcomed the first of two new ship-to-shore (STS) container cranes, reports London's Port Technology International.
The latest addition arrived on April 29 and has an outreach of 24 container rows.
The crane will be operational within three weeks after all check-ups and tests are done.
The second half of the order is scheduled to arrive shortly. Once both machines are operational, the Port of Koper will have 11 STS cranes in use.
