E-commerce provider for ocean carriers protects technology
    INTTRA said it has been issued three patents for technology related to several of its products and services, including multi-carrier track and trace functionality and booking functionality.
    The provider of e-commerce services for the ocean carrier industry said the newly issued U.S. patents are part of its international patent portfolio.
INTTRA’s e-commerce services are used by more than 30 ocean carriers and their customers to streamline and standardize their shipping processes worldwide through a network of over 20,000 corporate locations.
    INTTRA said more than 350,000 container orders are initiated on the INTTRA platform each week, representing more than 12 percent of global ocean container trade.
