CMA CGM's CEVA Logistics expands its global air capacity
Date:2022-10-04 Readers:
CEVA Logistics has expanded its Skycapacity programme, adding five stations to its air freight locations certified under the International Air Transport Association's (IATA) CEIV Lithium Battery Programme, reports London's Air Cargo News.

In an announcement at IATA's World Cargo Symposium in London, CEVA confirmed that it purchased additional air capacity on key routes.

The company now controls 1,300 tons per week thanks to 50 flights serving 20 airports.

CEVA declared its capacity programme offers consistent pricing and guaranteed capacity despite market peaks and lows.

The CEVA network currently offers many destinations to and from North and South America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

The network spans multiple carriers and includes freighter, pax freighter, and passenger capacity.

"We're continuing to expand our global network as well as the quality and safety of our air transport services," said CEVA chief operations officer Peter Penseel.

"With the improved SkyCapacity programme and our newly CEIV certified air stations, we have strongly increased our ability to co-create value with our clients across a wide range of industries."

In a separate announcement, CEVA's locations in Frankfurt, Incheon, Shanghai (PVG), Singapore, and Tokyo are now CEIV certified in handling lithium batteries, joining its Amsterdam and Hong Kong air freight stations.
