CALOGI, which sells airlines and GSAs online e-commerce solutions, has announced the signing of upstate New York's National Air Cargo as a customer for three items in its product line, including the company's c-Power online sales, export and import forwarding systems.
"Calogi offers a one-stop shop for airlines and forwarders to conduct electronic business with their partners, enabling airline and forwarding staff to commence business transactions after a short training session," said the company, a unit of the Dubai-based Emirates Group.
"National Air Cargo already has a reputation for excellence, and by taking advantage of the many financial and productivity benefits that Calogi products can provide, I am confident that they will enhance performance," said Calogi chief Patrick Murray.
Wikipedia describes Calogi as a secure internet service portal that offers a range of air cargo businesses around the world to negotiate and sell products and services online. Its secure portal connects all the players from the airfreight community, such as airlines, agents, freight forwarders and government authorities, to a global network of firms. Calogi has signed 90 airlines and 380 forwarders.
Said National Air Cargo ground handling chief Alan White: "Our partnership marks another milestone in our operational effectiveness and reinforces National Air Cargo's wholehearted commitment to e-commerce to reduce cost and improve standards."
