5,500-TEUer assisted after 2 days adrift off Australia's NSW

THE 5,500-TEU Rio Madeira lost power on October 20, while cruising off Sydney, and waiting for a reschedule on October 25, reports Rostock, Germany's FleetMon.

The ship drifted south along New South Wales coast. The ship has 3,380 containers on board, and the cause isn't known.

The Mediterraean Shipping Company's (MSC) 5,000-TEU Lorena was disabled and under tow off Spain, reports FleetMon. The cause of the trouble is unknown so far.
