Foye will succeed Christopher Ward at the end of October
he Port Authority of New York and New Jersey confirmed Patrick J. Foye as its new executive director at its monthly board meeting Thursday.
Foye, who was New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s pick for the job, currently serves New York’s Deputy Secretary of Economic Development. He will succeed Christopher Ward at the end of October. Ward will continue to serve as an advisor to the Port Authority for a transitional period through the end of the year.
Foye will work closely with Deputy Executive Director Bill Baroni, who was named to his post by Governor Chris Christie in March 2010.
