SINGAPORE's PSA International Pte Ltd (PSA) container throughput fell 0.7 per cent to of 90.9 million TEU at its port projects worldwide, reported the American Journal of Transportation.
The PSA International's flagship PSA Singapore contributed 37 million TEU (-0.7%) and PSA terminals outside Singapore handling 53.9 million TEU (-0.7%).
Said PSA, chief executive Tan Chong Meng: "The world experienced another challenging year in 2022. Despite the challenges, I was heartened by the ability of our management, staff and unions to adapt and honour promises to our customers.
"Going into 2023, the world is experiencing deep transitions towards new realities and while these times of change can be uneasy, PSA stands steady against the headwinds that may come our way as we continue to build on our core business," Mr Tan said.
